This Privacy Policy explains how Auto Cosmetics, LLC ("Auto Cosmetics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website, online booking forms, quotes, communications, and vehicle appearance and surface-treatment services. It also explains the choices that may be available to you.

This Policy is a notice about our information practices. It is not, by itself, a blanket consent to every practice described. When applicable law requires separate consent—for example, for certain marketing messages or optional technologies—we will request that consent separately.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:

Vehicle and service information: vehicle year, make, model, trim, color, VIN, license-plate information, mileage, condition, service history, photographs or videos, requested services, appointments, quotes, invoices, service records, and warranty or claim information.
Payment and transaction information: transaction amount, date, payment status, payment method category, processor reference number, and related accounting records. Payment processors generally receive and process complete card or bank-account details; Auto Cosmetics ordinarily receives only the limited transaction information needed to confirm and record payment.
Communications: emails, text messages, telephone-call information, website inquiries, customer-support communications, feedback, reviews submitted directly to us, and other correspondence.
Document-acceptance records: the name, version, effective date, and URL of an accepted document; the date and time of acceptance; the acceptance method; and, when recorded by the applicable system, related technical information such as an IP address, device, or browser information.
Website and device information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, actions taken, dates and times of visits, cookie identifiers, and general location inferred from an IP address.
Other information you choose to provide: any additional information you submit when requesting, scheduling, receiving, or discussing services.

2. Sources of Information

We may obtain information:

directly from you;
automatically through our website and related technologies;
from service providers that support scheduling, customer management, payments, accounting, communications, analytics, document acceptance, or cloud storage;
from dealerships, collision centers, insurers, fleet operators, or other business accounts that request or authorize services involving a vehicle; and
from publicly available sources or other parties when reasonably necessary to provide services, protect our business, or comply with law.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

respond to inquiries and prepare quotes;
schedule, perform, document, and support services;
identify vehicles and maintain service, inspection, warranty, and claim records;
process and reconcile payments, refunds, invoices, and accounting records;
send appointment, service, payment, warranty, safety, and other transactional communications;
maintain records of accepted agreements, policies, and disclosures;
operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website, systems, services, and customer experience;
detect or prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;
establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and respond to audits, legal process, or regulatory requirements;
comply with tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and other legal obligations; and
send marketing communications when permitted by law and consistent with your choices.

4. Transactional and Marketing Communications

We may send communications that are necessary or reasonably related to a requested service or an existing business relationship, including appointment confirmations and reminders, quote and invoice notices, payment confirmations, service-status messages, pickup information, warranty communications, safety notices, and responses to your inquiries. These transactional communications are not an agreement to receive unrelated marketing.

Where separate consent is required for marketing emails or text messages, we will request it separately. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing services. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP. Even after a marketing opt-out, we may continue sending non-marketing communications concerning an active appointment, transaction, service, warranty matter, safety issue, or legal obligation.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:

Technology and service providers that support website hosting, online forms, scheduling, customer management, payments, accounting, communications, analytics, document acceptance, security, and cloud storage.
Dealerships, collision centers, insurers, fleet operators, and other business accounts when they request, pay for, coordinate, or authorize the applicable service, or when disclosure is otherwise necessary to complete or document the work.
Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, and consultants when reasonably necessary for their services.
Governmental authorities and other lawful recipients when required by law, legal process, audit, or regulatory request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of our business.
Parties to a business transaction in connection with a potential or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

Third-party providers process information under their own privacy notices, terms, and security practices. We seek to disclose only the information reasonably needed for the applicable purpose.

6. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

Auto Cosmetics does not sell personal information for money. Some analytics, advertising, or measurement providers may, when their technologies are enabled on our website, collect information about activity over time and across different websites or services. Certain state privacy laws may define some of those disclosures as "sharing," "sale," or use for targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged.

Available choices depend on the technologies in use and the law that applies to you. You may use the cookie or privacy controls presented on our website, adjust your browser settings, use controls offered by the applicable provider, or submit a request through www.autocosmetics.org/support and identify the request as a “Privacy Choice Request.” We will evaluate and respond to legally valid requests as required by applicable law.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:

Essential technologies needed for website operation, security, forms, and requested functions.
Functional technologies that remember preferences or improve site features.
Analytics technologies that help us understand site traffic, performance, and usage.

Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. As described above, third parties may collect information about online activity over time and across different websites when their analytics, advertising, or measurement technologies are enabled.

Relevant factors may include the duration of the customer relationship; service, warranty, document-acceptance, and transaction records; tax, accounting, audit, insurance, and legal requirements; fraud and security prevention; and actual or anticipated disputes. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law and operational limitations.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our operations. No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident triggers a legal notification obligation, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you reside and the law that applies, you may have rights concerning your personal information, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about certain disclosures, or to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or marketing communications.

To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information in Section 12 and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. We may retain information or deny a request when permitted or required by law, including to complete transactions, preserve warranty or service records, comply with tax or legal duties, maintain security, or establish or defend legal claims. Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request, we may require evidence of the agent's authority and appropriate identity verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

11. Children and Third-Party Services

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Our website may link to third-party websites, platforms, payment pages, scheduling tools, maps, social-media services, or other services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and terms. We encourage you to review them before providing information.

If a change requires separate consent, we will request that consent through an appropriate affirmative process rather than treating continued website use alone as consent.
