THIS IS A LIMITED WARRANTY. Please read the complete coverage, periods, claim requirements, remedies, exclusions, and limitations below before authorizing service.
This Limited Warranty applies to direct-customer transactions and is extended only to the original Customer who purchased the covered service from Auto Cosmetics and only for the original vehicle identified in the quote, service confirmation, booking record, invoice, or coverage record. It is not transferable. Dealership, collision-center, fleet, resale, subcontracted, or other business-account work is governed by the applicable commercial terms and receives this Limited Warranty only if an authenticated writing expressly incorporates it.
Subject to the exclusions below, this Limited Warranty covers the installed result of a covered service, including the installed material and Auto Cosmetics' workmanship, against premature or abnormal failure attributable to a defect in the installed material or Auto Cosmetics' performance. Covered conditions may include adhesion failure, edge lifting, delamination, tunneling, abnormal bubbling after the normal curing period, installation contamination, or material fitment or patterning defects, and—when relevant to the service—premature or abnormal fading, yellowing, cracking, or color change. A listed condition is covered only when relevant to the purchased service and is not normal aging, ordinary wear, or an excluded condition.
Each period begins on the service-completion date recorded by Auto Cosmetics and shown on the final invoice or coverage record. Delayed pickup does not extend the period.

The affected service determines the applicable period; the longest period in a multi-service transaction does not apply to every service. Separate manufacturer coverage does not extend this Limited Warranty. A quote, service confirmation, booking confirmation, invoice, or other ordinary Transaction Document does not shorten these periods. An authenticated written warranty rider signed by an authorized owner may extend coverage for a particular transaction.
For a covered condition, Auto Cosmetics will inspect the vehicle and, at its option, correct, repair, re-perform, or replace the affected installation. Auto Cosmetics will not charge Customer for the material and labor required by the selected warranty remedy. Auto Cosmetics' obligation does not depend on a manufacturer or other third party approving or reimbursing the claim.
If none of those remedies is commercially reasonable, Auto Cosmetics may provide a credit or refund up to the amount paid for the affected service. This is Customer's exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty. Nothing in this Section limits a remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.
If a condition is first discovered during the final thirty (30) days of the applicable period, notice is timely if Auto Cosmetics receives it within thirty (30) days after expiration. No claim may be initiated more than thirty (30) days after expiration of the applicable period.
Failure to provide access, or a material third-party alteration before inspection, affects coverage only to the extent it materially prevents diagnosis, correction, or determination of responsibility.
No oral statement by a salesperson, installer, employee, contractor, scheduler, or other representative changes these exclusions or creates coverage. An exception requires an authenticated written warranty rider signed by an authorized owner.
The installed material may also carry separate written coverage issued and administered solely by its manufacturer or another identified issuer. That coverage is governed by the issuer's own eligibility, registration, duration, maintenance, transfer, claim, remedy, and labor terms. Auto Cosmetics does not issue, adopt, assume, expand, or guarantee it.
When verified separate coverage applies, the applicable quote or coverage record will identify the issuer and provide the complete terms or a durable link to them. Customer is responsible for complying with the issuer's registration and claim requirements. After the Auto Cosmetics period ends, Auto Cosmetics may provide reasonable administrative assistance with installation records or claim documentation, but Customer may need to communicate directly with the issuer. Assistance does not guarantee approval and does not create duplicate or extended Auto Cosmetics coverage.
IMPLIED-WARRANTY DURATION. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY WARRANTY IMPLIED BY LAW IN CONNECTION WITH A COVERED SERVICE IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE COVERAGE PERIOD STATED IN SECTION 2 FOR THAT SERVICE.
DAMAGES LIMITATION. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUTO COSMETICS IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM A COVERED CONDITION, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, SUBSTITUTE TRANSPORTATION, LOST TIME, LOST PROFITS, OR DIMINISHED VALUE. THIS EXCLUSION DOES NOT APPLY TO PERSONAL-INJURY DAMAGES OR ANOTHER LIABILITY THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT AUTO COSMETICS TO EXCLUDE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to Customer. This Limited Warranty gives Customer specific legal rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.
The liability limitation in Section 19 of the Service Agreement does not reduce Auto Cosmetics' obligation to provide the warranty remedy selected under Section 3 above. Any credit or refund under this Limited Warranty will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service. Claims for damages beyond the warranty remedy remain subject to Section 19 to the fullest extent permitted by law.
A refund, credit, replacement, re-performance, or discounted service is not an admission of liability and does not create cumulative remedies. A voluntary accommodation extended in one transaction does not amend this Limited Warranty, apply to another transaction, or establish a precedent.
Disputes arising under this Limited Warranty are subject to Section 22 of the Service Agreement, including individual arbitration and the class-action waiver, unless Customer timely opts out or a nonwaivable law provides otherwise.
This Limited Warranty is incorporated into the Auto Cosmetics Service Agreement and is available for review before purchase at https://www.autocosmetics.org/limited-warranty. The version accepted for a transaction governs that transaction. Later changes apply prospectively only.
